Daniel G. Smith


Attorney Daniel Smith has been a practicing lawyer in New Hampshire since 1978. His main areas of practice include commercial and residential real estate, land use and development, municipal law, business law, both transactional and litigation, and creditor rights and collections. He represents a wide range of financial institutions, businesses, municipalities, and individuals in financing, acquisitions, dispute resolution, and collections. He represents clients in both State and Federal courts in New Hampshire, and is a member of the New Hampshire and Grafton County Bar Associations.

Mr. Smith is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire (cum laude) and the University Of Tennessee College Of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal courts in New Hampshire.

He is active in community affairs. He has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations in the Upper Valley, and has been a member of the Lebanon Conservation Commission, Lebanon Library Board of Trustees, Lebanon Public Library Foundation, and the Lebanon Historic District Commission. He served as an officer on active duty with the U.S. Army and with the U.S. Army Reserve in New Hampshire and the Vermont National Guard. He participates enthusiastically in the wide variety of outdoor activities offered in Northern New England, including hunting, fishing, sailing, skiing and winter mountaineering.
