Alexander W. Samor


Al Samor has extensive experience in representing clients in connection with business matters and also in general practice. He formerly practiced in Southport Connecticut and was a founding partner and head of the business department of a large Fairfield County law firm. Al relocated to the Upper Valley in 2007. He specializes in advice to businesses of every size and to professional practices, including forming business entities including limited liability companies, corporations and partnerships, purchases and sales of businesses and professional practices, shareholder agreements and bank and other financings. He has represented clients in connection with contracts of all types, including employment contracts, partnership agreements, non-competes, construction contracts, leases and licenses, and condominium and other real estate matters.

Al is a member of the Vermont and Connecticut Bars and is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law (1964, with honors) and Fairfield University (1961, cum laude). He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
